Two blocks from the village center just off Second Street. This beautiful museum is devoted to the history of Solvang, the Danish-American pioneer spirit and the colorful heritage of Denmark. The historic handcrafted structure, built in the style of Danish farm manor houses, includes a spacious art gallery with changing displays of regional, national and international art. Open W/Th 1 to 4 pm, F/Sat/Sun noon to 4. Group tours available by appointment. Call for extended holiday hours. Free admission; suggested donation $3.

Located in the town of Santa Ynez, at 3596 Sagunto Street, the Musuem is open to the public Wednesday thru Sunday, noon to 4pm. The Museum features displays of Native American, pioneer,and early Valley ranch artifacts. The adjacent Parks-Janeway Carriage house is home to one of the largest horse-drawn carriage and stagecoach colelctions in the western United States. Admission for children up to 16 is free and for adults it is $4.

The Solvang Vintage Motorcycle Museum contains over 100 vintage and classic motorcycles from the US and around the world. With an emphasis on racing cycles, the oldest bike is a 1903 Mitchell and the newest is a 2008 Ducati Desmocedici.

The Wildling Art Museum connects people to the wonder of America's wilderness through great art. The Museum, located next to the Corner House Coffee shop in Los Olivos, offers four exhibitions annually. In addition, the Museum offers nature related art classes, field trips, and lectures. Open Wednesday-Sunday from 11am-5pm. $3 suggested donation. (Members and children free)

Honoring the multi-talented Danish father of the modern fairy tale, such as "The Ugly Duckling", "The Little Mermaid", "The Emperor's New Clothes", "The Princess and the Pea". This second story garret above the Book Loft store is filled to the rafters with copies of Andersen’s books, sketches, silhouettes and collages.

Los Alamos was established in 1876 as the United States celebrated its 100th anniversary. The founders John Bell and James Shaw named one of the main streets “Centennial” in honor of this event. Find out more about this western-style rural town at this newly opened historic exhibit.

On the National Register of Historic Landmarks, this is the 19th of 21 missions built in California from 1769 to 1836 by Franciscan priests. It was also the first European settlement in the Santa Ynez Valley. At the Museum you can see artifacts and works of early European and Indian art. Mass is celebrated daily. Gift shop available. Museum and Gardens Open Daily 9 am - 5:30 pm.
