WHO: Amateur and professional photographers are eligible. Must provide proof (receipt) of staying at least one night at a Santa Ynez Valley, California resort, hotel, motel, inn or RV park in Ballard, Buellton, Los Alamos, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez or Solvang during contest period. Must be 18 years or older to enter.

WHEN: Stay & Snap Photo Contest runs September 8 thru December 31, 2009.
All entries must be post-marked by January 15, 2010 to be eligible to win.

WHAT: Submit one favorite photo "snapped" in the Santa Ynez Valley in 4"x6" or 5"x7" glossy format unframed and un-mounted accompanied with official registration form and photo release-plus be prepared to provide hi-rez digital image if selected as a winner. Must release all photo image rights to be used online; be promoted & published in the media.

WIN: Grand Prize: $1,000 Cash & 2-night Stay in the Santa Ynez Valley
2nd Prize: $300 Cash & 1-night Stay in the Santa Ynez Valley
3rd Prize: $200 Cash

Each contestant will automatically be entered into a drawing for additional prizes including wine and gift certificates to be awarded in February 2010. Award Ceremony and Photo Exhibition to be announced.

CRITERIA: Entries judged on subject matter best depicting the beauty, serenity and uniqueness of the Santa Ynez Valley and suitable for family viewing. Judges panel will include Valley community leaders. The decision of the judges is final.
